PRIVATE CARE (Tulsa area only)

Private care is defined as the one-on-one care provided to any individual in any setting by a qualified caregiver. VNA's Personalized Homecare Program was established in 1981 to provide quality home health care at competitive rates on an hourly, shift, or visit basis. All caregivers provided by VNA are licensed and/or certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

RN SUPERVISION

A Registered Nurse supervises and oversees the care each client receives. An RN makes initial and supervisory visits to the client's home in order to make an accurate assessment of the patient's needs.

EMPLOYEE SCREENING AND SECURITY

Reference and background checks are performed on every potential employee. Certification and licenses are verified. VNA provides professional liability and bonding on all employees. A written test and a skills evaluation is performed prior to employment on all licensed and certified staff.

CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR OUR CAREGIVERS

Inservices are provided on topics such as Universal Precautions, Fire and Home Safety, Infection Control and the proper technique for lifting and transferring patients. 12 hours of continuing education are required annually.

FREE HOME CARE ASSESSMENT

Our registered nurse will gladly evaluate a potential client and assess their home care needs at no charge.

DEPENDABLE VNA's
